I’ve played both amount and would suggest ffxiv over WOW Burning Crusade Classic Gold Eso. Eso just feels. Idk empty. While it wasn’t able to grab my attention, FXIV is lots of life. Esos combat can be quite horrible. Imagine if skyrim had a 3 seconds server delay on every attack. That’s eso.
Both have been enjoyable to play and I prefer Ffxiv over eso. Eso appears to be. I’m guessing empty. Although it did not grab my attention, FXIV is a game with plenty of character. Esos combat can be quite gross. Imagine if Skyrim had a 3 second server that would lag after every attack. It’s like eso.
The combat action is quick and fun, active taunts/blocks/dodges are enjoyable, but since skills don’t come with a cooldown, it can become a mass-killer. Some classes use the same skills for thirty times in succession.
The company doesn’t care about the time you spend as a participant the way FFXIV does. You’ll also spend the same time managing your money account and inventory even without the premium subscription (same cost that FFXIV). If you’re not a premium player, each new dungeon needs to be purchased. Also they have yearly expansions which contain only a few pieces of content.
TBF Final Fantasy is sub only. Everything is fine when you buy the ESO sub. It’s not the best expansions, however, they’re at a fraction of the cost of FF expansions, and they are released twice as often, so when you can double the size of them at the same cost, it’s pretty competetive.
FFXIV is also an expanded version that has received a lot of praise in the form of Shadowbringers that has been hailed as one of the top Final Fantasy stories of the more than 15 years. I’m not aware of a single ESO story has been able to get anywhere close to that level of praise.
Do it ! I’m just finishing the base , and I enjoyed each and every moment of it. I’m not feeling the need to rush as Ilevel sync is making it difficult to complete old content. The reality that there are more options to kill hoboing it up, like chocobo racing as well, is great. My friends who have done dungeons together won’t quit on an unclean slate, and will gladly help you out should you require help.
I’m playing FF right now, but I’m not sure I have a convincing argument to not consider ESO. Both are very enjoyable in their own ways. Final Fantasy strikes me as more of a social game and the storyline is as good as any mainline Final Fantasy game. On the other hand , I think ESO lets you become more immersed into the world. ESO is a fantastic way to participate in the world if you are competent in identifying your Nirn. The biggest issue for a lot of people is combat, FF feels much more like WoW. ESO is much more like GW2 and the later rotations in ESO seem a little ridiculous however, not buy wow TBC gold so much from a length standpoint but from an execution standpoint.
