I have appreciated 2K for years, but largely offline. Not that I am not good enough to win against anyone, but that the people that I play are generally just the worst. Pausing constantly, taking advantage of these glitches in NBA 2K, not even coming close to playing basketball with 2K21 MT. It’s not enjoyable, even winning NBA 2K! And since I started myteam, it has just gotten worse. Endless is pretty much unplayable as far as a basketball moves, and the auction house is one of the things I’ve ever noticed. The greed that drives NBA 2K is, while unsurprising.
I think this mode provides you the ability to play as a bunch of different cards and build really awesome teams to see how they play together, sort of enjoying the»what ifs» of history. But farm and it turns to try coins. Perhaps I am expecting too much, perhaps it’s more of a design issue, idk. I simply think NBA 2K would be far more fun if there were cards available to use and enjoy, rather than everybody trying to one up each other and be worried about how much in game currency they make.
Ridiculous? Yes. Toxic? No. That’s how it’s always been. This year prices have definitely been greater. However, it has been easier than any year for MT. Not to mention all of the offline articles for decent cards. Rashard Lewis for instance, rarest card in the set for the best card at NBA 2K. Of course the price will be mad. There’s usually less than 10 from the AH unless he is in super packs. Supply/demand that is Standard, if you can not manage it then it is what it is.
I understand supply and demand, I’m saying since a million mt for one card is too damn far it is toxic because its spending cash to find these cards. That is a video game, not life? Like idk we are treating this like a real-life economy. Kids play this, and at a certain point, someone should recognize that these rates are out of hands. The problem us the cards are price fixed ( which I’d consider poisonous, which can be toxic in real life) or there is not enough supply, which at this stage in NBA 2K lifespan is barely acceptable. I’ve got other things compared to grind a million games to create enough to buy 1 card.
Because it operates like the basketball card hobby, it’s treated like one. Kids and I completely agree with you on the aspect of it, especially. In addition, I don’t understand the AH is obstructed in certain nations but purchasing packs is not. On the players end, that is not In terms of the price fixing. It is supposedly these MT agent websites Buy NBA 2K Coins which farm a ton of MT to artificially raise the purchase price of a card(s). It’s only a flaw in the system of 2K and there’s nothing 2K can do about it. It’s not basketball. Like I do not know worrying about prices and shit and sitting there.
