The default stronghold isn’t equipped with special missions. These subsets of missions only be made available through the leveling of the stronghold or the player’s avatar Lost Ark Gold, and completing several quests at the final stage of the game. To keep things short the player must complete the game by reaching 50 levels, upgrading the stronghold, and triggering an unspecified quest.
Before even thinking of doing special missions, players need to gain permission to gain access to a fortress within Lost Ark. This is achieved after the player progresses through the main storyline, and then completes the quest known as «Eadalin’s Gift.» The stronghold also has an operational dispatch station that players may use to dispatch ships on missions for a specific amount of real-world time.
Assuming the player has a ship and crew available regular missions are immediately available for potential deployment. But special missions are different as they are only meant to be used for content in the endgame and involve the player acquiring the chaos aura and collect souls, if they choose to give one away.
However, the missions aren’t immediately available in Lost Ark. Instead, players have to upgrade their stronghold to at least level 2 or achieve level 50 for their characters. This is the time when players need to visit an NPC known as Vern to assist in the city, and then unlock some roster missions cheap Lost Ark Gold. The roster missions, in turn, will enable the player to explore their first Chaos Dungeon, where players can earn Harmony Shards in Lost Ark.
